But Jesus called them to Him and said “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God”. (Luke 18:16)
Sunday School
Sunday school is a weekly service, held every Sunday. It is offered for kids from kindergarten up to Grade 8. It is based on psychological themes for each age, meeting end of year specific milestones and goals in scripture Dogma & Spiritually, Church Rituals and Morals.- Teaching Orthodox Faith: We impart knowledge about Christ, the teachings of the Bible, and Orthodox doctrines, providing children with a solid foundation in their faith journey.
- Building Character: We strive to cultivate strong character traits and moral values in our students, guiding them towards living virtuous lives aligned with Christian principles.
- Active Participation in Worship: Children are encouraged to actively participate in the Divine Liturgy with reverence. They are expected to engage respectfully and receive Holy Communion, which is pivotal to their spiritual growth.
- Fostering Love and Respect: Our program emphasizes nurturing deep love and respect for family, community, and society at large. This prepares children to embody their faith confidently in all aspects of their lives.
Through these efforts, our Sunday School aims to empower children to understand, embrace, and live out their Orthodox Christian faith with joy and purpose.
